Our Noël Menu offers a mouth-watering selection of seasonal starters, mains, and desserts.
To begin, diners can enjoy rich and comforting starters such as homemade cream of tomato and basil soup with warm onion bread, silky smooth chicken liver pâté with granary toast and chutney, or the ever-popular classic prawn cocktail made with Greenland Arctic prawns and a tangy Marie Rose sauce. Those who fancy something a little more indulgent might opt for the stacked fresh Filey crab, delicately layered with honeydew melon salsa and served with homemade bread.
The main courses celebrate both tradition and creativity. A Christmas favourite, our traditional bronzed free-range turkey comes with all the trimmings – roast and mashed potatoes, stuffing, festive vegetables and rich turkey gravy. Other options include tender brisket of beef with Yorkshire pudding and French Merlot gravy, twice-cooked belly pork with crisp crackling and cider sauce, or a hand-prepared Scottish salmon fillet en croute with a delicate Thermidor sauce. Seafood lovers can enjoy our award-winning seafood money bag, a crisp filo pastry filled with salmon, haddock, scallops and prawns, served with lobster sauce and fries. For something a little different, there’s a fragrant French-Moroccan vegetable tagine with cauliflower, apricots, sultanas and butternut squash, while pasta lovers will enjoy our mushroom, white wine and garlic girasoli with ricotta, porcini and a hint of truffle dust.
Of course, no festive meal is complete without dessert. Guests can indulge in a seriously sticky toffee pudding with homemade vanilla ice cream, a rich 70s-style chocolate fudge cake with cream and berry compote, or a classic crème brulee with buttery shortbread. Traditionalists may prefer a rich fruit pudding served with French rum custard, while cheese lovers can finish with a board of vintage cheddar, farmhouse blue, and red Leicester, served with chutney, crackers and grapes. To make the evening even more special, why not add a glass of our homemade blackberry brandy, delicately warmed to bring out its honeyed, fruity notes, or enjoy a moscatel dessert wine with its fresh, citrusy aroma.

Our Christmas Menu de Jour is for groups of 6 or less during the festive period, including our regular daily menu. We still accept walk-ins and normal table bookings at this time; however, we recommend booking in advance during the busy season.
